Room to play, in every season
In front of the lodge you'll find a playground and wide meadows where little ones can run freely. In winter the area becomes a quiet break between runs on the Sellaronda; in summer it's the meeting point before or after a walk.
The pond and a first catch
In the summer months, the pond right in front of the lodge becomes the ideal spot for kids trying fishing for the first time. The trout they catch can be grilled in our kitchen — an experience that combines play and the table.

Are dogs allowed inside the lodge and in the outdoor area?
Yes, dogs are welcome at Baita Vallongia. We simply ask that they be kept on a leash, both inside the restaurant and in the outdoor playground area, to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests and children.
What outdoor attractions are there for children?
In front of the lodge, children will find a large playground equipped with slides, swings and a sandbox. The favourite attraction is our fenced alpine pond, where little ones can watch the water and play safely on a green lawn also equipped with deck chairs for parents.
Do you have gluten-free options or dishes suitable for children on the menu?
Yes, we offer gluten-free dishes designed with children in mind too. Our staff is trained to handle intolerances: just let us know your needs when ordering to receive safe and tasty alternatives for your kids.
